Automobile

all of us kids, go down to the town
boys on the corner, hang out
hey pass the wine, come for a ride
in my cousins, automobile
street lights pass by, pedestrians smile
a boy steals a kiss from a pal
in the back seat, we watch the street
and my cousin laughs at the crowd
down by sea, we get out of the car
we see a friend at the Bar
hey John your sweet, buy me a drink
but watch the cops there not so cute
around the town, we walk around
Robert and Ricky and John
we watch the lights, such a pretty sight
hay Bob this isn't bad smoke.
my cousin pulls up, we pile in
off to the beach in a car
the night is young, boys having fun
give me a kiss in the dark
down by sea, we get out of the car
we see a friend at the Bar
hey John your sweet, buy me a drink
but watch the cops there not so cute

Accordion Man
04:45
|
|||
flowers were made to explode
stars in the garden were exposed
and you can make a bleeding rose
and the accordion plays to slow
A castaway came into my mind
gave me another name, made me cry
and you can see him anytime
and the accordion man is blind
all water falls to fast
chases the gull and brings him back
marries the child and loves the land
and gives it to the accordion man
All of the songs they made I could sing
and at the garden gates I could swing
but when the train came i could see
what the accordion played for me
(and thats) all water falls to fast
chases the gull and brings him back
marries the child and loves the land
and gives it to the accordion man

Rivers and Wings
05:22
|
|||
fishermen take fish from the sea
hunters are cruel when they shoot
i'm hunting for you all over the world
with only kind words and a song
who can he be. a beautiful face
opens your heart with a smile
and over at.. the place where we meet
rivers and wings make us cry
and on the way, through mountains of pain
there is a place that we know
old men and children fish on the lake
what they catch only love knows
fishermen take fish from the sea
hunters are crule when they shoot
i'm hunting for you all over the world
with only kind words and a song

Friends and Lovers
03:47
|
|||
Even as the days go by
and old memories fade and die
I look back through time and space
I see somebody, I see a place
Caus old lovers never die
They may fade or they may shine
Proud mountains can never grow
but great rivers will always, will always flow
Boats on rivers and cars on roads
take me where I want to go
But some lovers I have known
have carried me from home to home
So when your quiet, and by yourself
think about someone else
One who has loved you on your way
A pal, for a few days
and
Even as the days go by
and old memories fade and die
I look back through time and space
I see somebody, I see a place
Caus old lovers never die
They may fade or they may shine
Proud mountains can never grow
but great rivers will always, will always flow

Paper Horses
04:02
|
|||
purple fishes fly away
water falls into the blue lake
it's a swim upstream on somedays
but Turtle has to lay her eggs
he got 3 wishes when he found that lamp
a magic carpet was the best he made
and the girl from Kansas had it made
but she went home when she should a stayed
i've met some children on my way
talked to boys in the willow shade
we went swimming on the last day
gave me a bottle of wine
paper horses run away
that little child runs all day
a yellow bird and a black snake
a glass of beer and chips
purple fishes fly away
water falls into the blue lake
it's a swim upstream on somedays
but Turtle has to lay her eggs

Mississippi Moon
04:53
|
|||
white moon rises in the sky ..on a
warm June .. Mississippi night
but ..it can't hold a candle
too your brilliant banter
and all the shooting stars are new
and Mississippi too
gentle men and ladies stroll ..
down streets of old Biloxi town
where i met the Queen of Hearts
he stole my heart away
and everything was new
like a Mississippi...
moon.. rises in the sky
on a warm June .. Mississippi night
but it can't hold a candle
too your brilliant banter
and all the shooting stars are new
and Mississippi

the Garden
05:01
|
|||
dames walk down the hall. the white walls
reflect whatever innocence remans
where roses fall, and ladies long
to tell you why this has never happened before.
but after all is said i think you must admit
the garden has a beautiful wall
lords walk on the lawn. the time is gone
when lades could expect there gentlemen to wait
in the hall, where gentle rain
does not seem to have noticed the change
but after all is said i think you must admit
the garden has a beautiful wall...
........................red leafs fall, into flames
that burn away the memory of what remains
where ladies walk down the hall
and gentlemen sit and wait for the next war
but after all is said i think you must admit
the garden has a beautiful wall...

Moon in the Mind
05:36
|
|||
golden boats float down a
river of sighs
rain on the street is falling
tears my eyes
wings of an angel open
in the dark sky
rain on my face is falling
when billy cries
when billy cries
wind in the trees is blowing
thoughts in the mind
down on the street the cars are
passing by
passing by
when all the passengers
from nowhere, arrive
through the blue the rain that's pouring
we smile
wind on the water's blowing
moon in the mind
in the rain Billy's walking
don't cry
billy don't cry
wind in the trees is blowing
thoughts in the mind
down on the street the cars are
passing by
passing by
wings of an angel open
in the dark sky
rain on my face is falling
when billy cries
when billy cries

Roadio Rose
07:13
|
|||
Roadio Rose rides a way with the sun
setting low in the sky
The horizon is gold.
Paint the night snowy white
and the day winter rose
The black rider will break silver chains
Roadio Rose shoots a gun. The rainbow
follows rain, and the fame
of her name follows her.
Paint the night snowy white
and the day winter rose
The black rider will break silver chains
Roadio Rose tells the stranger to go
to the West with the sun as it sets.
Paint the night snowy white
and the day winter rose
The black rider will break silver chains
Paint the night snowy white
and the day winter rose
The black rider will break silver chains

Blue Eyed Baby
04:12
|

Blue eyed baby cries in a cradle.
Mama said to papa, "Look at them eyes".
Over the ocean in a great ship.
The captain said to the bin boy, Look at that water".
In high places in the Rockies
I said to Carl, "Look at that valley".
o yes o yes o yes
The gardener is gracious. His son is so kind.
The lips are his that i kiss
on the wheel of time.
Blue eyed baby cries in a cradle.
Mama said to papa, "Look at them eyes".
Over the ocean in a great ship.
The captain said to the bin boy, Look at that water".
o yes o yes o yes
The gardener is gracious. His son is so kind.
The lips are his that i kiss
on the wheel of time
Blue eyed baby cries in a cradle.
Mama said to papa, "Look at them eyes".
o yes o yes o yes o yes o yes
