lyrics

dames walk down the hall. the white walls
reflect whatever innocence remans
where roses fall, and ladies long
to tell you why this has never happened before.
but after all is said i think you must admit
the garden has a beautiful wall

lords walk on the lawn. the time is gone
when lades could expect there gentlemen to wait
in the hall, where gentle rain
does not seem to have noticed the change
but after all is said i think you must admit
the garden has a beautiful wall...

........................red leafs fall, into flames
that burn away the memory of what remains
where ladies walk down the hall
and gentlemen sit and wait for the next war
but after all is said i think you must admit
the garden has a beautiful wall...
