about

i made this song one late Oct night/morning when i coulden't
sleep. the words came into my mind, so i got up and sang into my phone so i would still remember in the morning, recorded this week,

lyrics

We walked another mile’
And the rain kept coming down.
The traffic light was pink.
And we knew,
And we knew
The name of this town.

The move it was old,
And this place was falling down.
We crossed another street.
And were saw
Yes, we saw
The sun come through the clouds

My middle name is Chester,
And my given name Peat.
I come from PortChester,
But I won’t’
But I’ll never
Tell you what I need.

And we crossed another border,
And the rain kept coming down.
The street was a raging river,
And we took,
Yes we took
A river boat to town
And we took,
Yes we took
A river boat to town
