about

i think that true optimism is founded on our willingness to make an effort. especially in difficult times. this applies to helping others also, perhaps. as long as we don't feel that we know better than everyone else.

lyrics

what hope springs now
when the last, candle goes out

and children from the town
cannot find, a place to flower

what place, will we have now
what love, will keep it's vow

yet we go on, we wait and pray
for miracles, to rise from ashes

what dreams, we may believe in
on another day

the laughter, in the school yard
may be the prayers, that children pray

climb the stairs up to a tower
light a candle in the window
so dark ships on an angry ocean
may see the way, and not founder

what dreams, we may believe in
on another day

the laughter, in the school yard
may be the prayers, that children pray

climb the stairs up to a tower
light a candle in the window
so dark ships on an angry ocean
may see the way, and not founder
