lyrics

Saturday comes, the rain
sometimes the night and day
Winter and Summer... and May
maybe some sunshine, in September

rivers may run.. away
boats in the harbor can't wait
Saturday's children, set sail for someday
and maybe a place to stay

sunshine and showers, a windy day
lights on the river may make
patterns that shine, maybe some lines
I'm off on the river, in May

November, December is not far away
and Winter, will come someday
but i'm off on the river.. in May
and maybe blue sky, and a place to stay

November, December is not far away
and Winter, will come someday
I'm off on the river in May
and maybe blue sky, and a place to stay
