lyrics

come and have a drink with me
at jacks bar, its always open
its not far, around the corner
where the boys are so well spoken

watch it don't fall in the water
come inside its not so chilly
do you remember that song' baby its cold outside?
This is john I think you'll like him.

-I remember my childhood
the church was always the best hideout.
and I remember walking
on the empty beach
rapt in beauty

here's a glass, I think you'll like this
just a twist of lemon makes it
not so fast, I think you better
stay a while , it's such a pleasure

This is John, did I introduce you?
hes a cop , he likes the boys too.
he' s 22 you wouldn't know it.
and what was the name of that poet?

-I remember my childhood
the church was always the best hideout.
and I remember walking
on the empty beach
rapt in beauty
