lyrics

in New York City
i knew a boy
who was amazing

his name was Maybe
Maybe's mom
was not a lady

she put him
out on the sidewalk
hey gay boy
your not my baby

he was 14
he was lonely
a lonely boy in New York City

in the East Village
i knew a boy
who liked to pick up

old men with money
hay old man
don't you think i'm pretty

we'll go down
to the old town
i know a bar there
we'll have some fun there

and later
we can make it
one hundred dollars
for the hour

and later, Maybe
met a Brooklyn boy
who liked him

he played piano
and wrote a song
for Maybes birthday

it was about two boys
one named Maybe
one named Crazy

and later
we can make it
boys make love in
New York City
