lyrics

Mr Robinson walks by the pond in the park with his dog on a leash every day
sometimes he likes to sit on a bench and watch all the ducks fly away

Katie the cake lady likes to walk up and down and look at that beautiful rose
that grows in the middle huntington circle on the other side of the road

the king of the corner has an icecream concession he sells soft ice cream to the kids
but what he'd like if you asked him that question is a vacation in Madrid

Walter the porter caries baggage all day. he works at the Grand Hotel
on the weekend he plays with his kids and watches Lawrence Welk.

Father McMichel holds forth from the pulpit. he's the best damn preacher around
and that Sister Green likes Father McMichel is the worse kept secret in town

and by the river friends get together it's just like The iland of La Gran Jatte
Father McMichel and Walter the Porter play cards with the king of the corner.

Mr Robinson walks by the pond in the park with his dog on a leash every day
sometimes he likes to sit on a bench and watch all the ducks fly away

Katie the cake lady likes to walk up and down and look at that beautiful rose
that grows in the middle huntington circle on the other side of the road
