lyrics

Saturday
baseball games
little towns
know nothing's news
paper flies around
the pitcher's mounds
high school boys
in a little town

wings on air
just like eagle scouts
boys that have no doubts
boys in love
jump from clefts above
jump from cliffs

...news on the radio
and paper telephones..

the boys were swell
the Korean War
soldiers fell
and war was hell
on a merry-go-round
going round and round
going round and round

boys in cars
drive around the town
in 1952
boys with jobs
"can i wash your windshield, sir?"
might be President.

...news on the radio
and paper telephones..
