lyrics

remember the little boy i found
he was throwing everybody's stuff around
i said, Michael how can we be friends
if your gona' throw my stuff around

a child in the after-school
said "i wana to go home wit' chew"
Michael, you have a family
see ya' tomorrow at the after-school

--this is where i'm sposed' to sing
something wise, a consolation prize
about memories made of this
about memories made of this

on his birthday we went to
visit the elephants at the Bronx Zoo
my street fighter turned into
a perfect gentleman (i was amazed)

the last time i saw Michael at the after school
we all played baseball in the afternoon
8 years old, and nothing to loose
he said, "give me a dolla', Mr Ed".

--this is where i'm sposed' to sing
something wise, a consolation prize
about memories made of this
about memories made of this
