lyrics

i used to go down... to Elm City
the tables were round..and kids.. made coffee
Eddy D. was a boy, with beautiful eyes
we sat on the Green with a bottle of wine, and talked about.. new times

morning to night i talked to my friends ..in winter it was...warm in there
..........the flag on the window.. said.. don't tread on me
the coffee was hot and beautiful boys ..talked to me
about Vietnam..the political mess..in Washington

i used to go down.. to Elm City
the tables were round..and kids.. made coffee
so don’t tread on us ...don’t tread on us
no don’t tread on us...don’t tread on us
