Bright Illusion
04:57
|
|||
lights.. play on a screen.. reflections in a movie
i see your body and face ..like a youth ..in a memory
when your near it’s so nice
churches and temples can’t compare
with the enlightened.. mood i feel
in your presence .. in the present
life .. wakes at midnight.. recollections and memories
i see your body and your eyes
like music..like an illusion.
when your near my mind is clear ..
the rainbow ..and a starry night
when your quietly talking to me
like a bright.. illusion
when your near it’s so nice
churches and temples can’t compare
with the enlightened.. mood i feel
in your presence .. in the present

Diamonds and Dollars
03:52
|
|||
water and wine runs like a stream
into the green sea, when i’m in love
i’m lost in a pawn shop on the street
i’m lost in the street like a lost glove
the windows shine, and like a thief
i know my charms, won’t save me
from wisdom or guilt when i think of the sea
i’m lost like a sailor, i’m lost sailor
sinking in sand like a lost child
hoping to find a diamond or a dollar
but diamonds or dollars don’t come cheep
i know my charms won’t save me
i’m lost in the dark when i think the sea
street lamps and clocks, street lamps and clock towers
but diamonds or dollars don’t come cheep
i know my charms, won’t save me
i’m lost in the dark when i think the sea
street lamps and clocks, street lamps and clock towers

Lost in the Kitchen
04:01
|
|||
i’m standing in the kitchen
washing the dishes
in the house in Ridgewood..
and i’m singing too
an imaginary dreamer
like a boy, who’s lost in day dreams
looking out the window..i imagine you
but what are dreams made of?
kings and queens wake up
from radio dreams and TV be-liefs
i listen to the news
but what are dreams made of?
kings and queens wake up
from radio dreams and TV be-liefs
i listen to the news
but i’m lost in the kitchen
looking out the window
on a rainy day in Ridgewood, and i’m singing too
i’m standing in the kitchen
washing the dishes
in the house in Ridgewood
i imagen you

Lost Love Song
04:06
|
|||
the yellow truck ..carries it’s weight in love
the driver must.. know how far he can go
bullets and battle ships.. wings on a ghost
trying to rise above, houses in a row
lost love songs.. on the radio.
orange kite in a blue sky, what’s a singer know?
holding on, and letting go
lost in love, houses in a row
the white train ..carries it’s weight in pain
dressed for the cold..white hat ,orange gloves
standing on my hands.. Winter winds blow ..
the yellow truck… houses in a row..

Tough Guys
04:31
|
|||
i saw you walking across the street.
one of those people from the end of town.
i saw you talking , your friend looked sweet,
a couple of tough guys... handsome boys.
but gravity keeps me on my feet
on my feet.
the words in the painting
i saw on the street,
said, "Robert and Richie in 1980".
i painted thier picture..
they left like a lover , they left like a mystery.
they left and kissed me.
i met you. and said you'd, look nice in a church phew.
and Jesus Christ smiled, when i loved you.
i'll take you home, and i'll paint your picture.
we'll take off our clothes. i'll hug you and kiss you...
a couple of tough guys.
i'll, i'll play piano
even if it's out of tune.
i'll make a song for you.
a song for you.
the words in the painting
i saw on the street,
said, "Robert and Richie in 1980”….
i painted there picture.
they left like a lover , they left like a mystery.
they left and kissed me.
