Water is calming down in rainy weather quenches the thirst of sisters and brothers We walk in the rain In hot weather We eat apples and pares With boys and brothers We mix pleasures and pain With friends and lovers We go out Saturday night With sisters and brothers LA LA etc A storm blows in the landscape The wind knocks the trees down The country’s blessed, the county’s cursed We walk together We see friends in town We see lovers We walk in the rain In hot weather Water is coming down in rainy weather quenches the thirst of sisters and brothers

We walked on the Brooklyn Bridge Hand in hand. a light rain fell. The silence of the boats below And the traffic passed as well Imaginary, lovers dwell, The kindness of boys I know Met by rivers show and tell songs and wine that cast a spell Crossing bridges as I go The continent the world I know Hand in hand a light rain fell the shinning river flows below The Hudson and east river, boats What Ridgewood, and Brooklyn lovers know Imaginary lovers go Over bridges over roads We walked on the Brooklyn Bridge Hand in hand. a light rain fell. The silence of the boats below And the traffic passed as well

Temptation it was, a rock in a glove the story I made , the news paper weighed A ton of love, but that was the way I made up my face, and gave it away, and gave it away, What Jesus said was, go speak with a child The newspaper weighed, a lamp on a grave Yes talk with a child, he’ll explain to you why The tears on your face, the stone and the mud Yes talk to me child, the TV is crying But I made a brave face, yes make a brave face the news paper weighs, a ton of love I make up my face, and gave it away, and gave it away,

THE LETTER 04:31
I rote a letter to a lover Come back so I wont forget you As the sun fades, in the evening I see your face..the stars are sparkling When it rained I wrote a letter To a friend from Arazonia Summer showers come to bring you Summer songs . In Summer weather I telephoned my fried Carl To find out where to send him a CD A dog is barking in the back yard next door neighbors quietly talking I talked to Eddie at the cafe’ He made a capuchino for me I sat out side in Summer sunlight Down the street the kids are playing I rote a letter to a lover Come back so I wont forget you As the sun fades, in the evening I see your face..the stars are sparkling
