i see your face it’s part of a wave that’s come over me out here on the ocean. i was alone and lost at sea. now i hear the friendly words you speak. there like a safe harbor to me. it rained in December, and it was cold. i couldn’t remember last Summer. a wind out of Canada did blow. now that i’m standing on your street the sun has come out and the rain has ceased. i see your face it’s part of a wave that’s come over me out here on the ocean. i was alone and lost at sea. now i hear the friendly words you speak. there like a safe harbor to me. /

about

Of the 14 pieces in this collection 8 were written between 1970-1985. The 3 piano peaces are pure unpremeditated improv. Castle of Stars, French Court and in America
were made for this recording. Everything was played on my Alesis synth, harmonica, Martin ukulele, and a little bit of Reason (software) percussion. Given the preponderance of love songs from the 1970s, I have kept the arrangements as close as I could to how they were originally performed on the many occasions I had to play them at that time on harpsichord. Mr Dream is a new arrangement for. Piano. ED 3/07
