Crackers 04:01
wipe the dust from your feet. i have no wise words to tell you i will wake you from your sleep and in the morning, kiss you all the crackers in D C are trying to sell you something but don't buy what you can't see even if they let you. even if they let you. wipe the sweat from your brow it's a job just getting out of bed but just in time you may find ordinary magic out the window all the hackers eating crackers at the bar hear singers with crossed fingers on guitars and old Moses struck the water and made it part but young Jesus he just walked across young Jesus said, "i'll just walk".

the sweet breath of a child blows the last candle out. and the sun in her purple robe lays down to rest. in a cradle of stars, rock-a-by my sweet child. may your dreams keep you safe as you walk this long road. though your Daddy is poor, and your Mama is tired, the old man in the moon will fly with you tonight. as a rocking horse rocks in the sky, in the sky, a great bird of the night spreads it's wings, spreads it's wings. the sweet breath of a child blows the last candle out. and the sun in her purple robe lays down to rest.

James Dean 04:36
red roses falling, in a blue sky 4 horsemen gallup, out of sight a camera pans across the scene comes in for a close up of my hands Summer is, a silent move it's a freeze frame fade, and cut to the street black jalopies, cruse around Dairy Queens and James Deans but what is it now? what is that sound out my window a buss passed by down on the street it's just another take some famous person forgot there lines. the clock is ticking, a pan to the tower the clock dissolves into a face James Dean is a cowboy James Dean is a tragedy the camera swivels and catches me, stealing a book red roses falling, in a blue sky 4 horsemen gallup, out of sight

Kitchen Sink 03:50
when i saw you in 1968 standing by the kitchen sink a handsome boy of 22 i couldn't wait to get into bed with you. and later on in the afternoon i put a hand on your shoulder so you'd know and understand i wanted to go to bed with you water doesn't flow up hill and you can't feed a thousand with a loaf of bread but that was a miracle when you took me to to your room to meet your cat. when i saw you in 1968 standing by the kitchen sink a handsome boy of 22 i couldn't wait to get into bed with you.

Sad Hotel 05:07
...all of the dreamers know sitting in sad hotels- walking on streets alone red..is the color of the soul blue is the King of Kings - white is the holly ghost and of course,we long to know the... resolution of the question living in a sad hotel, tv preachers cast there spell.. tv preachers cast there spell.. ... all of the preachers say a king will come one day -perfect in every way red...red is the rising sun blue is the sky above -white is surrender to love and of course the streets we walk may take us to a place that's new but living in a sad hotel, tv preachers cast there spell.. tv preachers cast there spell.. ... all of the hills we clime verses we memorize - children that we baptize red.. is the color of the will blue is the well white is a tolling bell and of course forests grow grow on hills and in valleys but living in a sad hotel, tv preachers cast there spell.. tv preachers cast there spell..

Alexander met a man from Buffalo he'd jump in his car and to the lake they'd go the days were hot and the water was cold swimming naked wasn't the only law they broke they swim in the Summer, long walks at night laughter love under starry skies Alexander was 17 years old. he liked to hang out with the man from Buffalo too many people are afraid of love but the flowing river never stops who can fathom a man and boy love is the peace that passeth understanding

Time 03:47
sometimes in the afternoon i watch the sky and the amazing clouds, like ships in the air go by the people on the street are walking by never looking up, never looking up at the sky and at night the lamps shine, on the street wonderful patterns on the side walk, from the trees and the wind whispers as a car pass by chiaroscuro patterns from head lights sometimes in the morning, the sun, through the window shines and as the world turns, light crosses my desk outside the amazing clouds, are like ships in the air and the people down on Broadway check there phones, for the time. and the people down on Broadway check there phones, for the time.

What We Are 03:01
a river flows to the sea. birds fly by prettily. the clouds way up in the sky are so bright and so heigh. hey brother do you see what it is you mean to me. it’s an old story. it’s is what we are, what we are. a flower grows in the light. the butterfly is bright. a father holds a baby, and salmon swim up stream. hey lover what can be your power over me? i guess we can see that it’s what we are, what we are.
